Staking
Some tokens in the wallet can be staked. The staking tokens will stay in the wallet, but will not be able to be transferred. The wallet balance will also show the quantity of tokens that are not staking. To send a staking token, it will need to be unstaked. (See the Unstaking section.) Only integers can be staked (no decimal points).
Rewards
Rewards are distributed in rounds, with one round being generated every 60,000 blocks. (The increasing "reward" can be seen in the wallet) Each block happens in the range of 1 to 30 seconds, so each round can take from 16 hours to 20 days. In order to receive rewards, the user must make a request to the blockchain to "receive rewards". This is because the rewards are not distributed automatically. Please note that Gas needs to be paid in order to receive the reward. Also, when staking or unstaking additional tokens, rewards will be received automatically. Please do not worry that the accumulated rewards revert to zero.
Unstaking
To send a staked token, it needs to be unstaked. However, after unstaking, the token will be in the "unstaking request" status for one round (16 hours to 20 days), and will not be available for immediate money transfer. This period is called the "lock period". Please note that immediate money transfer is not available after unlocking a staked token. The quantity of staking tokens to be unlocked can be selected. However, when staking and unstaking within the same round, there will be no lock period and immediate money transfer will be available. Please refer to the ONT website for the timing of the round split.
